Our Approach:
When we first begin working with a prospective client, we discuss your
needs, learn about your business and market opportunity and make an
initial assessment of the type and duration of work required. Based
upon this assessment, we will give you a proposal with the scope of
our assignment, a plan for the work, along with the timing and fees. (If
we are not a good fit for the work, we will refer you to other resources.)
Fees:
We base our fees on an estimate of the amount of work required, and we
bill expenses separately. We prefer to set up an ongoing relationship
in which we work as an extended part of your team for a predetermined
period of time (minimum 3 months) and charge a fixed monthly retainer
fee. We are also happy to work on a project basis to complete specific
deliverables on a predetermined timeline. For project work we typically
offer a fixed-price bid. Depending upon the nature of the work,
we may also have success-based fees.
